While serving in the U S Navy, Petty Officer Taylor possessed the license and ordination as a Baptist Minister, to preach the Gospel of Christ, Jesus in a non denominational way that teaches the fullness of God's Gospel.

During "Operation Restore Hope" with U S Joint Task Force 160 in March of 1995 at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Minister Taylor was named Co-Pastor to Rev. Willie Young by the Presiding 1st Pastor Mark Jordan. Pastor Taylor served a short two months before becoming the 3rd and most prominent pastor of them all. He would serve as the leader of God's people during the majority of "Operation Restore Hope". The Full Gospel Service was opened Tuesday through Sunday. The church would assemble for morning worship at 11 am in the Ballroom on the upper deck of the British ship Britanis, and return to the "Lighthouse Chapel" in Camp Phillips from 7 to 10 pm.

In just two months the Lord added over a hundred believers to the service. The church had a ministerial staff of approximately 8 ministers, 2 deacons and 4 stewards.

Pastor Taylor dedicated his ministry in the building of God's pre-millennial kingdom by providing teachings which strongly demonstrated Christ's biblical concepts such as; stewardship, love, true spiritual worship of Jehovah God in Jesus name, The Holy Spirit or Comforter and or Teacher,  Spiritual warfare, marriage counseling, holy relationships and the book of Revelation.

One of Pastor Taylor's most famous sayings was "He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches" Rev 2:18.

His second most famous saying was "When the devil (Satan) reminds you of your past, you remind him of his future, because he's going to burn in hell and you won't be with him!"

Thus, this was the beginning of, "New Jerusalem Tabernacle of Praise" being birth by God through the vision He had placed in Pastor Taylor while serving in "Restore Hope" and "Operation Enduring Freedom".

In conclusion of Pastor Taylor's faithful 20 years of active duty service to the US Naval Seabees as a Construction Supervisor and a Combat Skills Instructor.  Pastor Taylor took the ministry of Christ to the battlefield of Iraq and while building the largest pontoon bridge in World History, he began to realize that God had returned him to a holy place in the spirit realm of God.

It was a vision of the Tigris River (spiritual garden of Eden), Pastor Taylor was well acquainted with this spiritual place in God. The Word of God's glory spoke to Pastor Taylor with these instructions, to return home and prepare all who would listen, for the soon  returning Savior (Jesus Christ) the only begotten Son of the One and only True and Living God, the Almighty!
